Want to know more about concrete coatings? Or maybe you’re curious about what to expect during your appointment. No matter what you want to learn about, chances are we’ve been asked the same question before. Check out our frequently asked questions here.
We can install concrete coatings in a number of areas within your home. Some of these areas include garages, basements, patios, and pool decks. Not only do we install these coatings in homes, but we also provide our services to commercial businesses, which can include dog kennels, factories, and salon floors.
When it comes to concrete floor coatings, there are two main types: polyurea and epoxy. Both have their own unique benefits that make them ideal for different types of projects. Here, we will go over the main differences between these two types of coatings so that you can make an informed decision about which one is right for your needs.
Polyurea is a newer type of coating that has many advantages over epoxy. First, it is much more flexible, which means it can withstand more wear and tear. It is also more resistant to chemicals, stains, and UV light. This makes it an excellent choice for areas that see a lot of traffic or are exposed to the elements.
Epoxy, on the other hand, is more durable and harder to damage. It is also more heat-resistant, making it a good choice for areas that might experience extreme temperatures. However, epoxy is not as chemically resistant as polyurea, so it might not be the best choice for areas that are exposed to harsh chemicals.
All flooring is not created equal! Over time, your old floors can become stained, cracked, and overall less pleasing to the eye. Here at PolyPro Concrete Coatings, we use high-quality coatings made of epoxy to ensure that your floors look beautiful for years!
